Bloodstreams Battles Online: The 3rd anniversary of 2015

To celebrate 2015's anniversary, we decided to bring in 3 veterans and one newcomer. Now, we want to explain who these characters are.

VETERANS
Ryu

Having premiered in the first Street Fighter in 1987, Ryu appears as the lead character in the game, along with his best friend Ken Masters. Further games from the series show Ryu to be highly focused on his training, aiming to become the strongest he can. However, his powers also attract several criminals who want to use him for their plans, such as M. Bison.

Charlotte Edwards

Returning from a 3-year absence, Charlotte makes her way back to the tournament to stop Corruption Dragon from declaring World War III.

PC Guy

PC Guy is one of the two protagonists of the animated television series, Comedy World. He is a sarcastic 13 year old that tends on breaking the fourth wall. He is flirty as seen is some episodes. He sprints fast, as seen in The Comedy World Video Game.

NEWCOMERS

Sidewinder

After a mysterious warp transferred him to the Bloodstreams Battles Tournament, Sidewinder attempts to make his way back to his world, but is immediately ambushed by Corruption Dragon and his minions. To defend the Tournament, Sidewinder equips himself with his main weapon and competes against the fighters on the tournament.

Site updates (again)

Even more fewer changes have been made:

  • The "Change wallpaper" button has been redesigned to match the new Bootstrap UI.
  • The bell button in the new navbar no longer works. Originally, it used to let you create a Mico 1.7 theme, which was not intended, so we changed it to do nothing (until the Notification sidebar can be implemented)
  • Clicking on the hamburger menu in the new navbar no longer displays an outline. This was done to match the rest of the UI.
  • "Location Scanner", released in June 16, 2016, is gone. It's been already merged into Mico 1.7 which also has a built-in location scanner, so this shouldn't be necessary.

Due to our shutdown plans for the Waripedia, Correct or Incorrect and Rocketstreams Wiki websites, our web browser game BLOODSTREAMS BATTLES™ ONLINE, Mico 1.7 image captures and our two iOS apps are going down for maintenance until we can safely back up everything to Google Photos and Wikia.

Mico 1.7: Final looks

Mico 1.7 in use
After Mico 1.6 came out in October 15, 2017, we announced in Twitter Moments back in November 2017 that Mico 1.7 was in the works, and now after many months, we've finally decided to finalize Mico 1.7, a big upgrade over Mico 1.6. This update fixes some of the Mico 1.6 flaws and adds a ton of new features in, including some funny Easter eggs.

This update will also change how the context menu looks, and you can now freely customize it. However, settings are extremely limited and we plan to add more features for it in the meantime when we decide to announce Mico 1.8.

EASTER FOOLS !!

EASTER FOOLS !!

Our planned Easter Fools antic

After a four-year hiatus of committing antics at our users in April Fools, we've came up with a new antic.

This antic will flip the page upside down, making it harder to read the site.
Too hard to read, huh? Well, this is just a preview of what the "antic" will look like.
The antic "may" affect mobile devices but it will not force the page to be sent at the end of the page. So what's the plan? It will affect EVERYTHING on the site, including sidebars, Extra Stuff, the Bloodstreams Menu, the navbar, Mico and more.

But how can I read the page?
At this time, we're always looking to improve the way you browse on the site. As part of that, tomorrow, we'll be excited to introduce our new page layout. Here are some tips for getting the most out of your new Bloodstreams reading experience:

Turn your monitor upside-down
Our internal tests have shown that modern computer monitors give a higher quality picture when flipped upside down—kind of like how it's best to rotate your mattress every six months. You might find that reading will look better this way.

Tilt your head to the side
Imagine if you've got water in your ear and need to get it out. Tilt your head toward one shoulder and read any of our articles (gentle head-smacking on the opposite side is optional). With this way, you can read articles with a flipped head.

(well, isn't that gonna hurt anyway? We're just trying to be funny. XD)

Move to Germany
As you probably know, everything in Germany is upside-down, so moving to Germany may provide you with a more natural Bloodstreams reading experience. (Note: If you live Down Under, and the page is still upside-down for you, then we recommended moving to the northern hemisphere.)

P.S, wait until tomorrow to get antic'd. We'll be waiting to see how you will react to the flipped page.

Web app update

We have redesigned the white splash screen to the same one we currently use right now for users that use the iPhone 6, iPhone 6 Plus, iPhone 6s, iPhone 7, iPhone 7 Plus, iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus devices.

Here's the splash screen for those devices:

We're still thinking to bring the same screen to the iPhone X, so keep an eye out for it.

  • Redesigned alerts added
  • Wallpaper button for the fullscreen navbar

"Scroll to top" feature added

The hidden button that will sneak your scrolling activities.
Have you noticed this button anywhere on the site while scrolling? Yes. We've added a "scroll to top" feature obtained from another website. It functions the same, yet it looks different. That site takes a smooth scroll, but we took the sharper alternative from W3schools.
