Mico 1.7: Final looks

Mico 1.7 in use
After Mico 1.6 came out in October 15, 2017, we announced in Twitter Moments back in November 2017 that Mico 1.7 was in the works, and now after many months, we've finally decided to finalize Mico 1.7, a big upgrade over Mico 1.6. This update fixes some of the Mico 1.6 flaws and adds a ton of new features in, including some funny Easter eggs.

This update will also change how the context menu looks, and you can now freely customize it. However, settings are extremely limited and we plan to add more features for it in the meantime when we decide to announce Mico 1.8.

What's New on Mico 1.7?

Mico has received a few UI retweaks and many new features. Here's what we can list so far:

  • Mico Guide is now more detailed
  • Voice adjustments
  • New voice (Opera and Safari only)
  • Screenshots added
  • UI retweaks
  • Fixed a bug regarding repeating
  • Now uses Bootstrap 4's final release build
  • Projecting to TVs with Chromecast or AirPlay added (Google Chrome and Opera only for Chromecast, Safari only for AirPlay)
  • Multi-chat added
  • Can now use the built-in camera, or Bluetooth cameras if you have one
  • Can now detect adblockers, private mode, or Mico Portable
